When I met my wife she had a weird term for what I call a spatula. It was “rubber ducky”. There’s some sort of weird dutch story behind that term, but I’m not sure what it is because I’m not dutch.
Since then we have had heated debates about which of these is actually called a spatula.
Which of these do you call a spatula (black or green)? Why?

apparently they both qualify as a spatual according to sites on google. but if i had to vote for one or the other, i’d go with the green one!
C’mon, it’s really so simple: Neither! The green one is a rubber ducky and the black one’s a flipper. Duh…
